About Aaron Sosa

Aaron Sosa (b. Caracas - Venezuela 1980) is a freelance photographer based in Panama City, Panama where he works serving international editorial and corporate clients. His work has been exhibited in over 80 gallery showings across Europe and Latin America.

He is the recipient of numerous grants and awards for his documentary work and has served as an ambassador of the arts throughout Latin America on speaking tours and through teaching University-level workshops, most notably with the Latin American Kaleidoscope Project. In between assignments and travels, Sosa may be found roaming the streets with his Holga, up to his elbows in fixer in his darkroom or working with children's NGOs to teach photography to disadvantaged youths in the slums of Caracas.

Aaron Sosa (n. Caracas - Venezuela 1980) es un fotógrafo freelance que reside en Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá, donde trabaja sirviendo a editoriales nacionales e internacionales y clientes corporativos. Su obra ha sido exhibida en más de 80 galerías de Europa y América Latina y sus fotografías han sido publicadas en diarios, libros y revistas a nivel internacional.

Ha recibido numerosos premios y reconocimientos por su trabajo documental y se ha desempeñado como embajador de las artes en toda América Latina y Europa llevando a cabo conferencias y talleres de fotografía a nivel mundial.

Actualmente trabaja como fotógrafo free lance para diferentes instituciones a nivel internacional, su trabajo esta representado por varias agencias a nivel mundial, entra las que se destacan: Agencia de Fotografía ORINOQUIAPHOTO (Venezuela), la Agencia Deutsche Presse Agentur DPA (Alemania), Agencia Internacional MAJORITY WORLD (UK), ARCHIVO LATINO (Argentina), Agencia de Fotógrafos ENPHOCO Photo Agency (Venezuela), Agencia GAIA PHOTOS (Dinamarca), Agencia de Fotografía ISTMOPHOTO (Panamá), Agencia interTOPICS (Austria, Alemania y Suiza), Agencia de Fotografía OTN Photos (Italia) y la Agencia de Fotografía FOTOIMEDIA (Rusia). Es Director - Presidente de BLIPOINT S.A. Panamá. Portal web para diseñadores, fotógrafos e ilustradores, todo esto mientras desarrolla sus proyectos personales.
